Planet – Mars
Birthstone: Diamond
Arien stamp collectors are friendly and compelling. They have strong opinions about their stamps which they are willing to defend through thick and thin they have a great sense of urgency to fill up all gaps. They are not the most patient of collectors. On the other hand they are extremely loyal to the hobby, the clubs and associations to which they belong, and are very helpful with their advice.

Planet – Venus
Birthstone: Sapphire
Taurean philatelists are even-tempered, solid and reliable in all aspects of the hobby. They are not great worriers over detail, and are quite content to take things as they come. But if they don't want to do something - like virtual philately for instance, nothing will make them change their minds. Other collectors may find them stubborn to deal with but they think of themselves as fair and practical. They create harmonious looking albums and stamp exhibits.

Planet – Mercury
Birthstone: Agate
As befits their sign, Gemininians are interested in both Country and Thematic collecting. They are usually interested in all aspects of philately and have many different projects running at the same time. However, their interests are often only temporary. Virtual philately really appeals to them. They hate being bored and don't like routine. They display a good sense of humor which shows in their clever stamp write-ups and well thought out presentations. They do appreciate the value of tact but are often regarded as restless club members.

Planet – Moon
Birthstone: Ruby
Cancerians are sensitive collectors who are easily hurt by criticism. Then they will withdraw into themselves as the crab does into its shell. They are extremely interested in their fellow collectors' offerings and will lend a most sympathetic ear to those who pour out their stamp troubles. They have a fine sense of humour and enjoy cartoon philately.

Planet – Sun
Birthstone: Topaz
Leos are very proud philatelists (as opposed to "stamp collectors"). Occasionally, they may even seem arrogant. The lion is the "King of the Beasts", so people born under this sign fall naturally into the "King of Hobbies". They accept club responsibilities readily and enjoy being in the limelight. Usually truthful, they make good competition judges. They say what they mean, whether this is a compliment or a criticism.

Planet – Mercury
Birthstone: Jade
Virgoans, as hobbyists, are perfectionists. They do not relax easily and often feel awkward in show crowds, stamp expos or club events. They like everything to be exactly right and are disappointed when this is not so. They take a great interest in what is happening in the stamp world, but manage to keep pretty much to themselves and their own immaculate collections.

Birthstone: Opal
Librans love to ague and debate about stamps. They have logical minds and although sometimes stubborn, try to be fair in all their stamp dealings. They dislike making decisions, however, as they can usually see both points of view. Their collections are often artistic, exuding charm and balance. They dislike impatience if they are holding the floor and are apt to be envious of other people's stamp collections.

Planet – Pluto
Birthstone: Aquamarine
Scorpios are very passionate about their stamp collecting. They are intense about everything – love, friendship, food, clothing, politics, STAMPS. On the surface, however they appear very calm and controlled, especially at stamp auctions.
Scorpios never forget a kindness or a generous act and they will return it with interest. Neither will they forget it if you short-change them for their stamps.

Birthstone: Turquoise
Straight-shooting Sagittarians are usually the most outspoken at stamp meetings. They are not at all malicious, however. They speak the way they do about their favorite topic in complete innocence. This is because they are naturally honest and dislike any kind of deception, especially stamp forgeries. They make good stamp friends and bad enemies. They are impulsive stamp buyers and are often angry when they cannot get what they want at stamp auctions.

Birthstone: Amethyst
Capricorns are very ambitious philatelists. They work hard at reconstructing print blocks and other intricate collections. Most of them manage to achieve success in their endeavors. They are usually extremely serious and will exert self-denial and discipline to achieve their collecting objectives. They have great powers of concentration and enormous reserves of determination.

Birthstone: Aquamarine
Aquarian collectors are apt to be unpredictable, Usually they have a wide variety of stamp interests, and the strange or mysterious fascinates them, and they will do all they can to discover the secret. They are drawn to virtual philately like a moth to a candle. They can concentrate on different aspects of the hobby at the same time, and use philately to advance their knowledge and natural curiosity about life.

Birthstone: Moonstone
Pisceans like philatelic freedom. They feel imprisoned by convention. Sometimes they find it difficult to face reality. This is why virtual reality appeals to them. So they make excellent virtual philatelists. They may be timid or shy but often put up outstanding stamp presentations and displays. They have remarkably good memories and are walking stamp catalogs. Their work bears great charm and reflects their own sensitivities.
